Matchmaking (unranked) and a new private lobby code system have been enabled.
The advantage timer mechanic has been removed. The current timers are 25 seconds for attacking teams and 1 min 40 sec for defenders every round.
Characters
Name changes: Ryoko - now Fang, Mateo - now Sisak.
There are now four playable character skins instead of eight (Fang, Khari, Sisak, Fafnir). Luna, Hunter, Namono, and Takeda have been rotated out.Ā
Fang and Khari skins have been visually updated.Ā
The skins are not final and there will be more updates in the future.
Dynamic Screens
There are multiple LED screens in various locations on ALARA maps.
The screens will display different highlights from the previous rounds and when teams are on match point.
Oasis
General art and light update to help readability and navigation on the map.
Major art changes to the A uplink. The site is now featuring a metallic look which should make it more distinct from the exterior one (B).
There is now an open hatch above the destructible wall on B site.Ā
There have been some slight reworks to the cover placement on B site, tidying up angles and engagements.
General cover pass on the map where we have reduced the amount of boxes.Ā

Rotated out.

Quarry
New blockout map.
Gadget Course
The layout has been changed and it now has four sections to represent each class with respective gadgets.
Some objectives have been updated.
First art pass, there will be more updates in the future.
Pot destruction VFX and SFX.
Pierceable walls now emit a green effect when shot.
Spray Pattern
All weapons have new spray patterns which are more difficult to control for both hip fire and ADS.
Camera Shake
The camera shake system has been improved. It used to be the same shake back and forth and now it uses the bullet trajectory to decide the camera shake direction. This helps with feeling where the pattern is going.
Zeus Secondary Fire - Lightning
Folds Tactical Wall (and Fortified Wall) for 5 seconds.
Hellfire Secondary Fire - Fire Wall
Jumping through a Fire Wall deals 20 damage instead of 25.
Adjusts better against geometry.
New VFX to indicate lifetime.
Ripper Secondary Fire - Absorber
New interaction VFX.
Most weapon and character skins have been disabled for now.
Removed restrictions from gadget tiers - you can now select any three gadgets.
Four gadgets have been rotated out:
Device detector
Drill camera
Bulwark
Anti-jammer
Spotting Bot
Removed from the Support class.
Added to the Infiltrator class.
Pollution GrenadeĀ
No longer available for the Engineer class.Ā
New VFX to indicate lifetime.
Decoy
There is a 5 second cooldown after it is picked up.
Scan Grenade
Instead of a single scan, it now pulses 10 times, with a 1.5 second delay between pulses.
Can be destroyed while on the ground.
Tactical WallĀ
Further visual effects and textures to make it more noticeable when the Tactical Wall has taken damage.
Grav Grenade
A new visual effect when interacting with the Pollution Grenade.
Smoke GrenadeĀ
The visual effect has been redone using volumetric rendering.
Buy Menu
Streamlined the whole buy menu - instead of four separate sections, everything is on one window.
You can now buy gadgets with hotkeys (Q, E, C default, mouse selection still available).
Mini map now shows spawn barriers and pierceable walls.
Improved UI for your team bars. Better readability of your own health bar.
Improved UI design and readability for the spectator bar, now also showing the team icon.
In the settings menu, you can now click on the whole item instead of just in the checkbox.
The gadget and ping wheel have been updated.

Improved behavior for when interacting with ledges.
Improved gameplay audio mix for better sound distinctions.
Improved audio feedback on weapons and gadgets.
Some players may experience timeout errors while trying to connect to servers.
The visual effects of the Uplink sometimes show the incorrect team name and colour at the start of a round.
Tactical WallĀ
Cannot be hacked under certain circumstances.
DukeĀ
Sometimes unloads its own ammunition back to the reserve when switching weapons shortly after reloading it. It is also sometimes not able to deal damage when this occurs.
Drill Flash fails to activate/detonate on certain walls.
LanceĀ
Rarely the Breach Charge sometimes does not activate when shot at a tactical wall at a sharp angle and remains on the wall.
Flash TrapĀ
Occasionally appears active after being destroyed.
Shots do not register on occasion during warmup.
Sometimes players in the post-match scoreboard are sorted randomly.
There is no VOIP even if it shows in the scoreboard.
Sometimes your character can get stuck in crouch if pressing left-ctrl while bringing up the scoreboard. Simply press left-ctrl again to stand back up
Your character may sometimes go into āA poseā if you are idle.
